I don't know about what it looks like where you live but around here we've got churches on every corner. Maybe not that many but in my area you can run into piles of them on a short drive and I've got at least 10 of them within a 2 mile radius of me.

I agree with incorrigible (he certainly seems to have been corrupted) on one part of his argument. There are FAR too many people living on welfare who COULD work...Welfare was never designed to be a multi-generational “career.”

However, it WAS. designed to help the people who NEED it for whatever reason. Some people need it short term, other people need it their entire lives. (although there SHOULD be a better plan for long-term support than welfare...and I’m not convinced it should be on the public dole.)

Agreed but as incorruptible pointed out (he only recently joined the conversation), it certainly triggered me. I'm completely appalled there are people who would be for forced birth control.
