If Starbucks went bankrupt, would you care?

ppl realize a cup of coffee is $3, but they can make a lot more themselves and they might even taste better!

I know it's popular to hate on starbucks, but yes I would care - and I would be sad.
I like their coffee, and I like that I can get a big cup of it for under 2 bucks. (Yes, that's what a large drip costs). I get away with saying large, medium, and small in every starbucks store I have ever gone too, though their naming for their sizes doesn't bother me. (I have no objection to using "venti" as fake as that is). I do order a Carmel Macchiato (I think that is how it is spelled) from time to time and shell out the extra money for it. With their rewards card thing (basically just register a gift card online - you don't even have to put money on it) I can get a free refill and a shot of something in my coffee, and i think I can get free wifi in store through AT&T with that card but haven't done so, so I don't know this for sure... hopefully it works if I ever need internet for some reason and I'm near a starbucks.
And completely besides their coffee : I don't think I've ever been questioned if I walk into a starbucks and just use the bathroom, then leave. To me that means when I'm traveling or in a city I don't know, there are a lot of maintained bathrooms that I can hit up. It makes things just a little easier.

Yes, because then more people would go into Borders stores to the Seattle's Best Cafe which is owned by Borders. Since I work for Borders, that's a good thing.

Seattle's Best is one of the Starbuck's brands.

No it's not... Seattle's Best was an independent chain until it was purchased by Borders and they started putting them in their superstores. Again... I work for Borders... Seattle's Best is in no way related to Starbucks.
The Borders bookstore chain signed a contract with Seattle's Best Coffee in 2004 to convert Borders' in-store cafes to Seattle's Best cafes. As of 2006, approximately two-thirds of Borders' domestic superstores have completed the Seattle's Best conversion. Seattle's Best parent company Starbucks Corporation has contracted with Borders' competitor Barnes & Noble to operate cafes in B&N superstores under the Starbucks brand. Starbucks also owns and operates locations within Chapters and Indigo Books and Music Bookstores in Canada.
