This is going to sound gruesome but I hope the foreign Taliban (to me they are the terrorists) do not give up. I would feel more safe with them all dead. The foreign fighters are the ones who are the most eager to join a jihad in other places of the world.

I do not want them to be able to leave and regroup -- fueled by even more intense hatred for the US for utterly destroying them. Who knows what horrible terrorist acts they might commit in the future?

Geneva Conventions rules says we can kill them unless they are surrendering. If they're just leaving and were combatants, they can be killed or taken prisoner.

Combatants is the key word. If they're civilians, we cannot purposely kill them.

No, we shouldn't. And I doubt we will, since it would be realkly bad PR, and we said you will live if you give up. They don't know where Bin Laden is, they don't know anything. They are fighting for the money, they have a family just like we do, and they want food, and want their kids to have an education.

They being lower down fighters, not leaders or anything. Why spend time killing the worker bees when you can go after the queen?

Surrender is a viable option.

From the Geneve Convention:
"Combatants cease to be subject to attack when they have individually laid down their arms to surrender, when they are no longer capable of resistance, or when the unit in which they are serving or embarked has surrendered or been captured."

But you don't know if they are surrendering...IF they want to surrender why not walk up to the NA and discuss terms for a surrender.

They are falling back to regroup.....dig-in.....and conduct guerilla warfare from the mountains. Unless they start waving the white flag they can and will be considered the enemy.

About the wtc thing, i havent seen a single body on tv thats from afghanistan. Im sure they have killed lotta people, but they wont show it to keep the pro-america rage going.
