If the US Health Department came out tomorrow with a PSA that drinking soda/pop leads to cancer...

I used to drink it all wayyyy too much but in the last year or so I have really cut back. I did a great job around the house in avoiding drinking any pop because i just simply would not buy it. I found it more of a challenge at restaurants because I was so used to ordering some variety there. Lately I've been just going with lemonade or water or even a sports drink like powerade if its available.

I definitely think I would be able to handle not drinking it anymore, but I still have a can or a 20 oz here and there.

The government would step in and tax the crap out of it like smokes. What would of cost $5 a case would now be $15+ a case and the anti pop drinker nuts would come out and claim they dont want to watch you kill yourself in public while you drink thoes nasty drinks and there would be anti drinking laws in public.

Next thing you know you cant drink in resturants or in bars. They will try to pass laws so you cant drink even in the streets. In CA they will try to pass a law so that you cant drink a pop in your own car and then if you drink at your house in front of a child it would be considered child abuse because your forcing them to watch you drink yourself to death.

See- and that's why people need to learn how to drink soda (eat/drink anything) with a little more control. PUT DOWN THE BIG GULP and there won't be any issues about it!
