if it HAD to be realplayer, sure, i'd install it on a vmware box so there are no repercussions, just dont save the changes to the image

Funny, I don't really have a problem with RealPlayer. I installed the latest version on my home computer to listen to the Cartalk recordings on cars.com, and it seems to work OK if you do a custom install and turn EVERYTHING off.
