Real's player is about 1000x better than it was 5 years ago. I actually have it installed right now and don't have any problems with it, although I use it for only a few, specific things.

I reformat my comp every 4-6 months.. and i just realized that i haven't installed Real Player or Quicktime the last time i reformated (about 6 months ago).

I hate installing Quicktime.. i forget why..(doesn't it make itself the default player for other things as well as .mov? )..
but the only thing i'm missing out is movie trailers at apple.com and a few random things, right? .. anyone else not like Quicktime.. ?
