If you're like me and don't like the nero burning software this drive comes with you can use it with Adaptec software, you just have to use the latest release which supports the Ricoh 7063A drive (this Cendyne unit).

You'll need EZ CD Creator 4.02 and Direct CD 3.01. Then upgrade to these versions:

Adaptec is like the AOL of CDR software basically.

I'll stick with Adaptec 4.X, and with the utilities it comes with. You only dream that Nero ever could do all that you can do with EZ CD Creator Deluxe and the included programs.....

BTW easy cd creator 4.0 works with Cendyne 4x4x24 too.

Nero can do everything Adaptec can, and it doesnt use that annoying AOL type interface.... And Then you need Clone CD or other programs to do some of the protected CDs.
