In all the modern day pictures of him he is portrayed as blond with blue eyes. This picture was probbably taken from a small ruler at the time of the early church. Most likely not what Jesus really looked like.

Bitterness aside, reading this thread makes me feel blessed about not having anyone die that is very close to me. I (and those around me) are truely fortunate!
