I was a big fan of these guys in their early days. I played the hell out their "I am Hollywood" album back in the day. My faves were "The Seduction" and "Do You Think I'm Pretty?"

Bach isn't a band...but his music lives on through various orchestral groups, such as The Academy of St. Martin in the Fields...my choice earlier.



I laugh as some of youse who are choosing "your current favorite band" for this...even if they only have a couple of albums out. You'll get sick of it pretty quickly listening to the same songs 10 times per day for the rest of your life...

Some made some good choices, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Stones...all have large libraries of music from which to choose, and are still recording in one way or another. (While Led Zeppelin is no more, the surviving members are still making music)

Oasis. 8 Studio Albums, that's close to a hundred songs. I like 80&#37; of their songs, can sing along to probably half. Can't go wrong with the Gallaghers.

I would go with NOFX. I don't listen to them much anymore, but when I do pop in a CD I almost never skip a song. Over the years they've changed styles quite a bit as well, so there's still a lot of variety.

They also have a LOT of albums and even more singles.

Metallica would be a close second.
