Wouldn't be much fun. No friends, technology you don't understand, no car, money, house, or possessions. You'd quickly be reduced to survival mode and I don't think it would be pleasant.
While true, I would imagine that these things would be taken care of, at least the basics.
It would probably cost a lot of money to have yourself stored for a thousand years, or whatever.
It really depends on the circumstances, too. If you froze yourself on your death bed, none of that would really matter, but at least you would get to see a smidgen of the future; theres even a chance that they will have come up with a way to fix what is wrong with you.
What if you froze yourself at retirement, and were in good health... let your investments grow, perhaps managed by the company that is storing you..
Even assuming you didn't, it probably wouldn't be hard to find a job and get an apartment... start up a new life. It would be awesome to learn about future technology.
I think it would be pretty cool, overall. I wouldn't do anything insane like 10,000 years, though. The chances of you being successfully stored for 10,000 years are pretty slim, IMO. Who knows what will happen with our society. Maybe they decide its unethical 5,000 years down the line and unplug everyone. Bummer. lol
I think 100 years is too little. I would probably go for 500. Sure would be a bummer if something major happened, though, like a global thermonuclear war.
Maybe 250.
