nothing is completely absolute, a law (the most certain thing we have), is simply something that, without known exception, behaves as we expect and can predict

example:
experiment trying to prove G-d
1. Go to Egypt
2. hit a rock with a stick
-does water come out?
repeat step 2 (many, many times)

does this prove (or disprove) G-d? no, we don't have anything exactly right (we're not in ~1000BC, we're not moses, etc)
but it helps to prove that, as we can explain the universe, water cannot come from a rock upon being hit w/ a stick

I don't know who G-d is. But what the hell are you talking about? For the universe to exist, "G-d's" word has to be true? That's pretty circular. That's like if I say that I am God, and for the universe to exist, I must be God.

Religion in all of it's forms is a fear based way for humans to try and understand what is actually going on here on planet earth. It's the non active form of science, I suppose. Xtianity and it's stupid big black book are probably the biggest reasons why humanity has failed to gain any sort of momentum towards further evolution. Religion is for sheep who do and act like others in order to feel that they belong or believe in something. It's been the cause of a spiralling down of humanity for the longest time.

If you understood or have done any research whatsoever on subatomic particles you will come to an understanding that the life force that is "God" is in everything. And that you don't need to believe in anything other than that to be "saved". And with this connection to your own subatomic particles and the subatomic particles of everything else you can create what you want in your lives.

One of the coolest damn things I've seen recently was the movie Bruce Almighty. Towards the end the god figure tells bruce that instead of looking outside of themselves humanity should just start creating the outcomes that they desired. "Be The Miracle" was the phrase.

That's what it's all about. If we all stopped being "Crying out for Jesus" gimps then we could all start to take back the power and create a future which would "empower" everyone. No bible or sunday black suit necessary. Just molding the future from the core of our hearts.

That's my .02 cents. Peace! And as the others said before me, Heaven is a state of mind. I suggest you all find it now and not wait for it.

There are many misconceptions about hell. Don't be fooled, there will be no party.

3. Sin cannot be overcome by good works or good deeds or a good life.

Sorry, but that's not too convincing. Your list portrays a God who is anything but just--denying paradise to people simply because of the way he created them and the way they grew up.

If it is up to me, then #3 and #5 may be eliminated. If they remain, then it is not up to me. I never made a choice not to have faith...I just realized one day that I had never had it and had simply been going through the motions. In additon, each sect of Christianity defines sins differently...so that can get very wierd.
