It is not that bad really. The snow caps tend to stay at home because they can?t stay out late, making room for the younger folks to roam around. In the summer the local watering holes are full of scantily clad university fillies that make any man smiles.

Victoria is about 100 miles north west of Seattle & it is on the tip of Vancouver Island therefore the climate is milder (more sun, no snow, less rain, much less pollution).

Victoria is the place for me, however if I ever have to live in any other place....it would be New Zealand, Thailand, Central Viet Nam, or Bali.

Good luck moving to or becoming a citizen of many of the countries listed here. Most of them have far stricter imigration policies then the US does.
