I have gotten one or more of every AMD choice, including EPYC and threadripper. My signature has most of the details. I also got a couple of 14 core Xeons.

My complete list is:
Quantity, then breakdown.

3 - 1xxx series Ryzen
4 - 2xxx Series Ryzen
4 - 3xxx series Ryzen (still have)
9 - threadripper, 6 1950x, 2 2990wx, 2770wx
2 - 14 core Xeons
5 - EPYC, 2 7742, 2 7601, 7551 7452

After reading a few posts here, I am curious.

I wish there were more choices (more than 10) allowed, so I did my best to categorize.

Update: as of 9/22/2020 at 1:46 pm below are the percentages (rounded to the nearest % point)
Ryzen all series 71%
Threadripper all series 5%
Intel 4,6,8 CORE 15%
AMD other 3%
Intel other 6%
EPYC 1%

Its certainly obvious that this community vastly favors AMD since Ryzen came out 3 years ago. AMD total 79%, Intel 21%

Edit: since the poll allows up to 3 votes each, 300% could be the total. I calculated real numbers/total

Prior to Ryzen all of my desktops were Intel. Since then I completely switched over to AMD. I've had pretty much every Ryzen chip sold aside from 3950x. Hopefully once 4000 series come out I can finally get 3950x for cheap.

I bought a 3900X earlier this year. Technically I also bought a 1600AF for a present, and a i7-8750H for my daughter, but I didn't include those.

I bought a 1700, 1600X, 2700X, 3700X, and a Xeon E5 1660v3. Can only vote for 3 categories though, so I included the most recent 3, the 2000 series, 3000 series, and the Xeon.

Intel 9900K at release. I figured 8C/16T would last a long time and Intel was best for gaming at the time (still is with a tiny margin). I don't run that many other heavy tasks anymore, so gaming won out as the only place I might notice the difference, also there was less appealing AMD options at the time.

I built a system around a ryzen 1700 when they first came out, then got a deal on an 1800X and upgraded. Still use that system today.

Got a 2500u powered laptop(steal of a deal) at the beginning of the year and an old Llano laptop a few months ago as a curiosity.

I picked up the following:
3700x for me
3600 for my son (Microcenter bundle, MB for my rig) $50 bundle discount at launch. Also had another stackable $50 off bundle for RX 5700 (my rig)

1600 during the Bestbuy $199 Crosshair 6 Hero bundle deal....Sold 1600 and used the MB for my son's rig.

My main rig has been running a 6600k I picked up a couple months before Ryzen launched.

However, I did end up doing a complete rebuild for my wife with a 2200g who was essentially using my old overbuilt gaming PC to bring down the size and sound profile of her desktop.

$300 for a computer that can handle the light sims and office apps with an NVME drive for speedy response times.

Included Wraith cooler is solid, silent, and saved a couple extra bucks.

I picked up a 9900k upon release and don't regret doing so. Unless Zen3 is phenomenal and I get the itch to pickup moar cores, the 9900k will hold me over until 2022/2023 when I pickup a DDR5 platform (likely Zen4 unless Intel pulls a rabbit out of a hat).
