Have you guys been able to overburn much on TY's? On Ritek silver/silver's I've been able to overburn up to 737MB.

Thats funny, coz Nero does not burn these more than 16X (my burner is the lite-on 40X) whereas it happily burns the cheap Prime Peripherals (from the officemax 200 CDR deal last year) at 40X without any problems.

Still, 4.99 for 50 is a good deal.

Lukfilm..I disagree I have a spindle of the 24x and they arerated by smartburn to 40x..you can burn at 48x but may get a few errors...but IMHO Fuji(ie TY) are simply the best 24x cdrs period...

Where can i score these Ritek's? I can only overburn a few megabytes past 700 on these Fuji's.

I bought 2 packs during the last BB deal, sent them in under different names/addresses and go both rebates back in about 6 weeks.

I've got every Fuji/BB rebate that I've sent in. I must have better luck than some of the people that have posted here (knock wood). I do the rebates online here. Maybe that helps.

Great deal, Thanks. Grounded Sailor, turn off Smart Burn, you should be able to select any speed you want. I burn 24X TY's at 40-48 all the time on a 48X Lite-on.

i hope he doesn't mean buring in vcd mode. i ussualyl get 718 out of any cd including fuji. i havn't pushed it farther cuz i'm afraid to try

Most rebates are hit or miss. How do you think rebate houses stay in business? :disgust:

I find rebates are no longer worth the hassle... unless they're directly from Microsoft or Staples of course.
