I would invest most of it.

I'd wouldn't spend that much. I'd buy a really nice 4-5 bedroom house. Not anything ridiculously huge...just very nice. I'd buy like a 40-60k luxury sports car.

I'd create scholarship funds, and donate some money to education. Specifically engineering and science. Our nation is falling behind.

I'd look to donate money into researching genetics. There's so much we'll be able to do with this...prenatal selection, life extension, disease study/immunity. We'd save lives. And if we raised the lifespan to 150 years or so, we'd dramatically increase economic productivity and relaxation/vacation time.



A common argument against life extension I hear from people is that they only want to live to be 70. I think this is because they think that no matter what, they'll be crippled and withered when 70 years after birth has been reached. That's the whole point of life extension: To slow aging itself. With a 150 year lifespan, 70 would be like 30 now.

I would built a racing complex for 1/8 scale buggies and 1/8 scale on-road cars. We're talking RC cars here.
I would also build myself an uber l337 machine shop and develop my own cars.

1) good health/dental insurance for me and my friends.
2) get the leaks,brakes,valvetrain,transmission fixed on my truck. some new tires too.
3) 5 mil each to various special interest groups(NRA,EFF,OSI,LP,ACLU, etc)
4) i'd build a bunch of micro-hydro plants around the country. (hydro and wind mostly)

after a while of stuff like that, I think you'd get bored always having whatever you want, whenever. so I think imposing limits on yourself would be a smart move to keep things in check.

Well, a worldwide beer/wine hunt would be pretty cool. Basically travel around the planet looking for the rarest most sought after beers/wines and of course drinking/buying them. Other than that, a shitload of charity donations. I don't need billions of dollars, might as well give to those that do.

i'd invest half, give 5 millon to charity, buy my close friends houses and cars, build my parents a mansion and buy them tons of clothes and buy them sweet cars (they paid for all my clothes and both of my cars AND my rent AND my undergrad AND my chiropractic school AND my speeding tickets AND my computer expenses... it'd be only right to repay them and then some). i'd buy my best friend's family a new house and get them out of debt as a christmas present so they couldn't turn it down. it'd get them all new cars, too... fully loaded. i'd give 10 million to johns hopkins to add a chiropractic clinic in their hospital. i'd hire a personal trainer to keep my ass in shape so that i could keep going to nice restaurants in various countries. then, i'd improve on the lan party business i help run in st. louis right now (www.lacledeslan.com) and grow it to quakecon status.

and then, after i'm done with all that, i'd probably buy myself a nice house (not too big... just something in the suburbs), a nice audi or bmw, and continue seeing patients..... AND i'd buy washington redskins season tickets and go to every game as long as i lived.
