I just finished mowing our lawn. My wife says I always come back in the house looking really angry afterwards and she thinks I resent that she doesn't do any of the mowing. I don't resent her for it at all. But I do wish I didn't have to do it at all. It just isn't fun pushing a mower up a hill.

My parents are away on vacation this week so I mowed their lawn while they were gone... There are about 40 trees/stumps to avoid, roots that are sticking up that need to be avoided, and hills/valleys that need to be taken at certain angles to get a good cut. Not to mention the standing water in certain areas.

Basically, it is a pain to mow.

Agreed. You can blame things like HOAs for demanding people stay with the stupid american classic lawn chores. It's stupidity at it's finest.

I don't mind mowing the lawn, it's so much easier with a mulcher mower than a bagger. Just go, and do it in one run. I used to do my dad's lawn with a bagger, that was brutal. Do 2 strips, have to stop to empty bag in garbage bag. It would take about 4 hours to mow that lawn. Pretty big yard. We had like 40 bags to bring to the dump after, such a waste to put organic matter in plastic that will take thousands of years to decompose.

Are you for real?, I bought the cheapest POS rider just so I don't have to mow in the FL heat. Consequently I'm always working on the POS weedeater one mower which I don't really mind so much because I enjoy taking things apart.

There's a spot I'm trying to get grass to grow because it never recovered last winter, it's finally starting to germinate, just in time for winter. Crazy to think there's about a month left.
