I just broke up with my girl friend and I really enjoy being single. As long as you keep yourself busy, then single life is not as bad as most of you think.
 Although I do have to say, I don't refer to it as "keeping busy". To say such implies that things you do while single are somehow worth less than things you do while in a relationship, which is complete and utter condescending bullsh!t, IMO.
I'm a busy guy, working to pay rent while going to grad school, and I have a list of things I want to do in my life, particularly before my late 30s. Being married is not one of them. If I choose to get married I'll work it in, but that will happen when it does.
My purpose in life is to explore, and experience, and see the world. Maybe serve my country while I'm at it. Marriage is secondary.
