If you were going to upgrade your system to a TBird 1.33 ( 266 ) ...

... and you had the $$$'s now, what would you put with it ?

Motherboard ?

RAM ? ( DDR or SDram )

Hard Drive ? ( no scsi )

Case or power supply ?

The rest I already have in my current P3 800EB system, but I'd like some input ( links ? ) on the above mentioned for a TBird 1.33 ( 266 ) system.

I would go for a KT133A based board rather than a DDR one as the chipset is a lot more mature/stable and has great performance which is within a few % of DDR anyway.

For memory - can't go wrong with Crucial PC-133 CAS 2.

Hard drive - IBM 75GXP.

Case - depends what you're looking for really. Size? Cooling? Price?

PSU - Sparkle or Enermax are both very good.
