IGN gives Uncharted 3 a perfect score

Beat the game a couple days ago. It was fun, but this didn't deserve a 10.

so I finally got some time to play this game again and got to chapter 20 last night.

the 1/3 of this game is just so freaking amazing. i was jaw dropped through some parts starting when you are going towards the large ship. and the whole sequence of getting on the ship and off of it, then going to the airport, and onto the airplane ... wow, simply amazing.

can't believe how well done it is. no other game is even CLOSE to coming this cinematic. sure it's over the top, but it's just really fun and awesome to watch/play, especially the first time.

i think the whole series of events from when you start chasing the plane, until you land in the desert, is the single coolest part of any video game i've ever played. i was giddy as shit that entire time. and again, the cinematic feeling to it was just amazing. not to mention the outstanding graphics.

the part after that in the desert was pretty lame though, it just seemed kind of unnecessary to make it interactive. it was like 20 minutes too, i just wish it was a shorter cutscene, would have gotten the same point across.

i also feel that some of the firefights towards the end in the parts i just faced were annoying. enemies coming from all over without cover in many spots. it just wasn't that fun and i found myself more annoyed at some parts than anything. and you start to see how poor the control can be in this game in situations like that.

but all in all such an amazing game. i'm right at the beginning of chapter 20 now where you are riding the horses and plan on beating it over the weekend if i have time.

Just started playing this game the other day, but so far I'm impressed. The 3d experiencing works very well along with having a nice surround sound setup.

just finished it ... was more chapters left than I thought. pretty sweet ending to the game and i really enjoyed it, but again the controls in this game are just downright awful sometimes. was very noticeable towards the end at a specific part.

sweet ass game though!

It is the better of the three Uncharted games. Is it a 10? No. It's a 9, no doubt.

There is one area that is total filler.

And, there are some weird game design issues. Like when you are sneaking around the airport, to get on the supply drop plane; why do you need to keep pushing the jeep, to get access to a window,... just pull the hand break when you get it into position.

Perfection does not contain illogical design flaws.

haha i actually thought about that too at that part, like why would the chick need to hold it why you jump up? pull the fuckin handbrake up!

my main gripe with the game is the control, and being shot from angles where you really have no clue who's shooting you. but those gripes aren't really enough to piss me off or detract from the game too much.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations was insanely better than this game. I can't believe they gave this a perfect score and not that.
