I felt the exact same...and got booed out of the Uncharted 2 thread.

Uncharted 1 was something completely new for me when it came out and that made it more exciting than Uncharted 2 for me...although U2 was still a great game.

Haven't fought a supernatural enemy but just saw the beginning of what I expect to be supernatural enemies.


And I'm stuck on a floor puzzle...I can get all but the last 2 tiles, I can't figure out the sequence.

so far i'm loving this game, really amazing. i was kind of 'bleh' at the beginning of chapter 2 due to the direction of the story, but i ended up really enjoying that part of the story.

this game reminds me that we do not need any new consoles any time soon. the graphics are phenomenal, can't believe how good it looks. the voice acting and acting in general is simply astounding. the characters have actual chemistry. amazing no other game can get this down as remotely close as uncharted can.

just got to chapter 6 and cut it off to watch sons of anarchy.

I decided to pick it up and got to Chapter 6 before calling it quits for tonight. I think I am going to slow the pace down and only do a couple of chapters a night and maybe weave some God of War: Origins in with it.

Got this tonight along with Forza 4 and Skylanders(Son Christmas) at Target with the buy 2 get 1 free. I won't be able to start this for awhile though. I'm only 20% done with Batman, want to play Dark Souls NG+ also, Battlefield 3 mp, and Forza. LOL This will have to wait awhile.

Echoing the posts about how good the game looks. It's insane. We got to the beginning of chapter 7 last night, and I'm absolutely in love with the game. I haven't even played; it's all been my girlfriend. It's so easy to watch, though.

Beev my wife was on the couch last night as I started chapter 6, using the laptop and kept glancing up to watch the game. she is far from a gamer but she was pretty sucked into the story telling aspect of the game and how amazing it looked.

I actually bought the game at lunch and "worked from home" the rest of the day. Up to chapter 18 and love it. There were a couple puzzles that I actually ran out of time on before it asked me if I wanted the solution. Playing on hard.

My wife bought it for me for my birthday (11/16) and let me have it early. She asked me how far I was and I said "Chapter 6" and she was mad and told me to slow down.

Was going to hold off since I'm still knee deep in Batman Arkham City, but got a nice surprise bonus on my last paycheck that I didn't know about until yesterday, so I caved the drove up to Target and picked it up last night. Haven't played much, it looks awesome already. Love the Drake/Sully banter.

ps3 is primarily my single player gaming machine. they have much better single player exclusives than 360. im not sure if i will buy uncharted 3 or not though, i may just red box it. i usually blow through the games, and i really don't care about multiplayer much.

It's a good thing you don't because the multiplayer on Uncharted 3 was comical at best. Honestly, it looks decent but the controls and refinements were both shoddy and the gameplay online was pathetic compared to any decent modern day shooter. Just think Socom 4. I don't know what it is but Sony exclusive games just seem to be below par for some reason. Gears 3 made Uncharted 3 look like an indie game when you compare the multiplayer.

Sony's advertising dollars hard at work. I have a Sony family (4 PS3's in my house). but I'm just being honest here when I say don't buy into this crap. It's all marketing hype. Uncharted 3 is Tomb Raider 10: Laura's Scruffy Brother Rides Again, except now these companies pay off salaried writers and website admins to say it's the greatest thing ever. They absolutely have to have this game blow up because it is the killer app for PS Vita. Don't fall for this crap people.

Doubtful. There are games made for multiplayer and games made for single player. Uncharted 3 is definitely a single player game, and if you want you can play multiplayer too. Likewise, BF3, MW3, Gears 3, and many more are multiplayer games with generally subpar single player. Not terrible, just subpar. The Gears series is actually a good example. I love the campaign when I play it multiplayer, but it's a total travesty single player.

I have no plans to play Uncharted's multiplayer, because I know it's subpar.

i agree with you about multi. i actually bought it though.

the VS multiplayer beta was pretty bad. as you said the controls just don't translate very well to online play.

however, online "horde" and co-op modes are still a blast. i haven't done it yet, but in Uncharted 2 the VS multiplayer was pretty weak but the other modes were fun. I expect about the same in this one when I do play it online eventually.

I need to go ahead and buy this one from Kmart this week. They're giving a $20 coupon towards future purchases if you buy it. And since I bought Batman from them I have a $30 one already. Uncharted 2 for $29.99 AND $20? Yes, please.

Then the most difficult part will be focusing on finishing Batman while Uncharted is staring me in the face.
