IIS 5 FTP users problem

I'm sure this is a simple problem, but the MS knowledge base doesn't seem to offer any help. I'm trying to configure the FTP portion of IIS5 to allow specific users to login. The only way I can get IIS to allow accounts I create to login is if they are part of the Administrators group, and obviously I don't want this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

PS, the FTP server is also a DC, I don't know if this will make a difference.

I believe you need to set the 'allow this user to login from the network' right (which isn't given by default) when you create the users.

Well, I gave up on trying this on a DC, so I set it up on my 2kPro machine, but I'm still having the same problem. I've added the user to the list of users that are allowed to access the computer from the network in the local security policy, but still no luck. The only account that I can use to login is the Administrator account.

Doh, I figured it out. Apparently you can't create a username of 'ftp'. All other accounts I create work.
