get your warehouse up a lvl or two, then get your research going. once you get your taverns, you can skyrocket your resource intake.

I just lvl up my townhall, academy, and tavern in the beginning so i can unlock buildings and gain resources fast. At this point in the game you dont really have to worry about walls and spies.

hey Ziggy. increase number of scientists and then research expansion. Then you can build more colonies and start expanding. Also when you research professional soldiers , you can start building infantry.

What type of resource do you have in your town now? I would say go for a marble or wine island if you dont have any of those yet.

fyi...buttmnky and I just did the game that gives your 25 ambrosia (showing up at the top right of Ikariam). Took us about 15 mins to get to lvl 8 and get the coupon.

And for the new players out there, don't skip the tutorial...at the end of it you get 10 Ambrosia.

I used part of the ambrosia they give you from the tutorial once. I never planted a sulphur colony as one of my first four, so I collected a bunch of wood and used 5 of the 10 to turn it into sulphur so I could upgrade my residences and plant a real sulphur colony. Came in handy, otherwise I would have had to wait a lot longer to buy the sulphur I needed on the market.

Here is a silly question.

I have 1 capital and 4 colonies

Palace 5
Governors are all 4

does this mean if I colonise now I will get corruption in all 4 of the colonies?
