Heh, I know the feeling. It's going to cost me 416k wood, 152k wine, 126k marble, 146k crystal, and 195k sulfur just to upgrade one town's GR. Multiply that by 8 before I'll be ready to plant another.

Just completed my lvl 7 palace upgrade. Ive found a few inactives with large amounts of resources hiding behind a large fleet. Thinking about going with a mobile base to get around the fleet. If I pop a mobile base on their island, I can attack from land and ignore the fleet, correct?

Just tried it and their fleet does not stop the trade ships. 175K of crystal is mine

Very little resources needed to get the new colony going. I have 4 warehouses at lvl 2 and getting the ports up (this will be the most costly depending on how fast i want to ship the stuff back). I may lvl up the warehouses more so i dont have to ship back every other hit, but we'll see.

yeah. that's probably what I'll do next time. I figured the warehouses only cost 137 wd and 253wd for lvl2, that i could send 1K wood and have enough for all of them.
