I'm an idiot. I sent my newest colony a bunch of wood to upgrade its governor's residence, but I never upgraded my warehouse and lost about 3,000 wood because the game still dumps any excess into the ocean.

Yay bugs. My UK Theta city just got its port occupied. I'm supposed to be able to move up to 8000 goods a day. But guess what, my ships glitch out and I can't actually send any out. So I lose 5500 wine and 2500 marble. Talk about annoying. My occupier would have just been wasting money if the damn game actually worked properly.

You also need sulfur to expand after the 3rd colony I think, but I can at least trade you guys stuff until then. Go for the extra marble and get sulfur next.

It was on my UK set up, the one I started before using your referral link. My US theta guys are OK.

My occupied port is my town Arx on 65:41.
The occupier is from the town Tallinn on 62:42

He only has a 4k score, so I'm guessing he sent everything he had at me (200 slingers, 50 hoplites, 5 rams, 100 spearmen, 120 archers) (occupying the port: 31 ram ships)

Once I get a sulphur colony, I can return the favor, so it's no big deal.

i'm going really slowly in this game. I haven't put much time into it. I believe the other people that started when I did have double the score as me.

I haven't had many battles yet. Just a couple of skirmishes with barbarians. Which was a neat little addition to knock the rust off. I did have one person block my port and then go on vacation. It made the game act as if my port was still blocked but wouldn't show the occupying force. I "freed" my port by revolting even with no ships in my fleet.
