Hashbrown U R correct its the same chair that you linked.
Flot : Try the IKEA web site www.ikea.com - go to United States and then click on IKEA WOODBRIDGE
- It is in Virginia and and exit 168 on I-95 South if you are coming from the North.
Me sure U will not miss the signs.
As Scholie suggested there is a resturant inside and Sweedish Meatballs are real Yummy.
Kids get free IKEA glasses - plastic or Mugs ( depends) if you buy a Kids meal.
if U are having kids - you can drop them off at the kids baby sitting services while you shop.
If you order the online catalogue - you get coupons for your purchases 20 $ off 100 on any purchases.

There is a AS-IS section where every 10 mins you get second IKEA or rerturned IKEA products - People just go there and wait to see the items coming. You have to grab them before anyone does. It is at throw away prices.

Thank you. I may have to wait awhile and cool down before going there again. Like Inguyen, I also drove up there last weekend to buy a desk but the place was empty except for some scraps. It was the last day before their move. 400 miles driving in vain.

Um yah, but the way the post sounds, its a Grand Opening Sale , and someone mentions they moved.....I've been to the one at Potomac Mills in Woodbridge , just most people say the IKEA at Potomac Mills, b/c Woodbridge is such a backwater town there's really no other reason to go down there.

Ikea moved out of the main mall of Potomac Mills to a satellite building on the East end of the parking lot.

they moved right across the street from Potomac Mills, i was there the day before they closed.... saw the new store... lotsa parking under it. you can see it from i95.

It's not 45 minutes south of DC.. unless you're in rushhour traffic.
They've built a huge new store across the street from the main mall, across from where Wacamaw used to be.

Those Poang chairs are nice. Good stuff. I bought the cheaper version - kimsta - for about half the price. Very similiar frame.

IKEA needs to open more stores!

heh, i've been to ikea too many times in the past month.. and it's a freakin hours drive Anyway, those chairs are ok, but i don't particularly like them.. just seems like it'd break. I got one of those $20 silver loungers or whatever.. pretty nice for $20

Yeah, if your driving from Maryland, it's one hour. From No. Virginia, it's 30 minutes or less. The mall is only about 13 - 15 miles south of the 495 beltway.
