Would you say that if someone close to you tried or succeeded in committing suicide? Not everybody lives life with the almighty knowledge that you may have. Some people get stuck in situations where they don't see the "light" and may need a friend, help, or whatever. Maybe he was seeking attention, but more than anything, it's a call for help. Who are you to judge? He's 15 for god's sakes. When he grows older he may look back and think how stupid he was, but luckily somebody was able to help him so he can have that chance. Not all suicide threats go unfulfilled. It's better to be safe than sorry.

I see there are alot of people saying that you can't/shouldn't do thing like ILikeSprite did (meaning, posting suicide-notes on public forum). But what you have to realize, that it was a cry for help. And the fact that he posted here, potentially saved his life. But I guess Red and company have the right to be upset. I mean, one dead kid is insignificant when compared to preserving their forum from turning in to a "AOL chatroom by todays useless generation".

Wow that is cold, very cold. Can't believe some of you guys are like this. I highly doubt you would say this to one of your close friends who was thinking of taking their life.
I agree with datalink7, what if he didn't have any friends to turn to? What if AT was his only way to express how he feels...to talk about things he enjoys. Isn't that what you do with friends anyway?

Good Job GoPunk.

I can understand what shawn went thru. I went thru something similar at age 16. I had a few friends who basically didnt care about my problem and were pushing me towards that solution, and ozzy osburn's song didnt help any bit (sucide solution).

ANyway finally my best friend vinu over the internet knocked some sense into me, and that brought me back into perspective. The thing is that when you have no one to turn to for help especially friends who dont seem to care about your situation and your either too afraid to turn to your parents or they just plain ignore you (like it happened to me - cause their attention was on my sister and trying to get her married) it leads to unexplained changes in the human mind that tend to get rid of the problem, unfortuantely the problem happens to be the source of the problem, you.

Shawn, Listen up boy. You will get over it, what ever the problem is. If its a girl, let me tell you something, women are not worth it. They are fussy pussy's until age 25 or 30, only after that can you really have some decent fun without any mind games. At your ages girls are made up of only mind games.
