Illegal aliens

Employing illegals immigrants is perpetuating exploitation of those less fortunate. Sure these ppl will pay taxes either by illegal use of SSN and/or via sales taxes. However, their presence here makes the minimum wage laws irrevalent since illegal immigrants are usually paid cash, and paid less. Having even a system of benefits for those that aren't here legally just creates bitterness, extreme xenophobic reactions, and a broad anti-immigrant reaction. Knowing that they can find work over here only fuels their desire for oppportunities not available, and completes a cycle of exploitation; those willing to break the law for a better life, and those willing break the law to save money. Closing our borders isn't the answer nor is keeping our low wage jobs for Americans. We should be creating higher wage jobs for Americans, and allow legal immigrants to work lower wage jobs and giving them the opportunity to advance up. The foundation of this country is built upon immigrants from through out the world, our strength comes from unity through diversity, not unity from xenophobia.

As long as the rich white folks don't throw a fit when their lawn goes uncut this month, I don't mind rounding them up.

There are always enough to replace the ones that get sent back. It's a logistical problem, because there is no way we have the manpower to actually turn the tide in favor of illegal emigration instead of immigration.

Kind of like our war on drugs. They just enforce the laws enough so people know they exist. But they can't enforce it enough to make an impact.

the real issue is that WE EMPLOY them. It's time to stop b$@ching and start doing! Be men! Be American! Here are a few tips:

1) Boycott ALL American fruits and vegetables until the white owners of national crops STOP employing illegals; if imported fruits are unavailable, you may take vitamins to prevent diseases like scurvy.

2) Buy your own darn lawnmower, do your own darn lawn. If your neighbors refuse to do their lawns, stop complaining about the looks because they are doing their duty!

3) Don't ever eat out again until ALL fast food chains and respectable ethnic restaurants STOP hiring illegals.

4) Stop paying taxes!!!! The government is conspiring against us americans because tax money is being used to pay illegals through social and medical welfare funds, not including all the illegals hired into the government social agencies themselves! You may be put in jail, but this is about action, not b$@ching!

5) Only BUY foreign made clothing, because if you buy American, you can bet an illegal at some point helped make it. By buying foreign, you are sending a message to Old Navy, to J.C.Penney, by all that is holy, to the Gap!!! Don't hire illegals!!!! If you must go to work in Indian attire, don't worry, I will see your cause!

these are a few tips! guaranteed to be cheaper than collecting illegals and sending them back. Are you willing to do this and more for YOUR country!!

Most of us are pretty lazy when it comes to hard work, this is where the illegal immigrants benefit. They will take credit for it and look even better then US Citizen or legal immigrants.

Yea I think it's really stupid that illegal aliens are allowed to just come here and get a free ride. My friend's family has been trying to become citizens LEGALLY and it's been taking over 15 years! They still have green cards, while these people come here with no trouble, there are people who have to wait in line and come here legally its total bull. The reason why no body wants to do those jobs that illegals do is because they hire at $3 an hour or even less. Now that seems like dirt to us because it's impossible to live with that but for them its not so bad because they pay no tax at all with free social services. Like everyone claims the price of fruit will skyrocket, I'd rather pay $10 and have a CHOICE to pay for strawberries then pay $500+ in taxes and NOT have a choice. Taxes are being raised and we have a budget deficit because of these illegals. BTW in the 10's and 20's (early century) and 50's and 60's fruit wasn't $5 a box. They were normal prices, how is it now if we don't hire illegals the price of fruit will skyrocket? It doesn't make sense, were much more efficent now and have huge amounts of fruit, americans eat less fruit now than they did before so why would price of fruit skyrocket with all of these being true just because we fire all of the illegals and hire citizens agian. There is something missing here, it's probably because the farmers are getting a higher yeilds from the illegals so they are getting higher profits and adjust the price accordingly. They aren't going to sell the fruit at piss poor rates, they are going to sell them for what ever people will pay for them. Efficiency and illegals dont equate to lower price of fruit, all it means is more money for the farmers.

1) Penalize employer of illegal aliens by $100-200K/person. Cut the source of employment and illegals won't be able to survive here.
2) Abolish automatic USC for children born. Only children born from USC will automatically get USC..
3) Abolish welfare and any other social assistance to illegals. No more hospitals forced to accept illegals. No more taxpayers paying for illegals children to go to school/college.

Those three alone will stop the wave of illegals.

yeap i have to agree with this.

We need to do something about the boarders also. I lived in New Mexico and Arizona. There are soo many illegal immigrants its not even funny. Every one of them say its easy to get across the boarder.

What i find odd is we are makeing it easy for htem. we have to have water and shade put up. whats next? a car so they don't have to walk?


But on the other side we do need to make it easyer for legal alians. I am all for people comeing to the US (hell that is what made the country great!) but they need to do it legal. But there is no reason it should take 10+ years. thats just insane.

According to your theory their DP asses should have been packed into crates & shipped back to where ever they came from.

My ancestors came here from Sweden around 1890. They worked hard, educated themselves, learned to speak English and applied for citizenship.

Our infrastructure cannot handle this level of illegal immigration so we need to do something about it. I say enforcing our laws is a great way to start. But hey, that's just me.

I'm going to have to agree with you. My great grandparents came to America on May 12, 1921 from Naples, Italy. They worked their asses of to get ahead. Then later my grandfather was denied entry into the pipefitters union for being Italian (Read: if you weren't in the union, your ass had no job). Did he cry and demand a handout from the government? No, he worked harder and waited until he was finally allowed in.

I'm not saying all immigrants should be deported, but if you want to live here, become legal or leave. If you don't want to leave, you should be forcibly deported. If you try to return, I don't see a problem with a bullet becoming lodged in your skull. Harsh? Sure, but that's the only way some people will learn that they can't be leeches on the American society.

illegal immigration is a tough issue to resolve. i just love how one person takes what he sees in his everyday life and generalize it upon all mexicans. so sad and close minded. the solution, if there is one, is more complexed than simply packing them up like sardines and shipping them out.

my job requires me to be around a lot of mexicans so i'm a bit more sympathetic towards them than the average joe. to a limit, i don't mind overpaying a little bit out of my pocket if it ensures some human being the chance to get their life together.. you all admit your ancestors worked hard so YOU can be where you are now. how do you know the illegal immigrants now aren't working hard to ensure their children and children's children have a better life?

but hey i guess my opinion isn't too popular around here. because i mean illegal immigrants are taking money away from my ability to upgrade my video card to play doom3......

you need some for work that won't be done. but most countries have guest worker programs for that. the rest are not "farm workers" and do create a net tax burden. not to mention unfairly compete for jobs with actual legal recent immigrants. its not good to keep allowing illegals just so you can be cheap. if workers cost more, so be it.

There is a subset of the circle of life involved in illegal aliens:

1. Company imports workers from Mexico or picks them up at 7-11 @6am in a white pickup.
2. Illegal aliens work for the day, and receive small amount of cash.
3. Illegal aliens return to an apartment where they sleep with 30 other people for $20 each/night.
4. Illegal aliens return to work or 7-11 the next day.
5. Immigration picks them up, and ships them back over the border.
6. Company imports workers from Mexico.
