This is the very reason why California is going to hell. With an enormous voting power the Hispanic communities hold, it is virtually impossible to stop them from come to America illegally. Keep in mind that the average Hispanic families are large in numbers. Whether the parents arrive here legally or illegally, the kids -- the future -- will hold the voting power in California. No elected officials are really prepared to deal with fighting against illegal immigration. I think there are too many Mexicans in the southwest both legally and illegally, and they are a substantial voting block of constituants that politicians need to get reelected.
The other day I read an article that stated officials had decided to quit running Sobriety Checkpoints because they were finding too many illegal aliens. Dont recall the exact location. As long as we are more concerned about Illegal Aliens than we are about our real citizens we will have this problem. Maybe the FBI and the Immigration and naturalization people need to set up a sting at the voting booths to look for illegal aliens in California and Texas.
We should just close our border with Mexico.

in the 20s and 30s we had polishe and other people from europe immegrating to united states and majority of them were taking the jobs. Up to the 60-70s allot of this job have been done by teenager but now most teenager dont' even do chores at home so chances that they will start doing them if we have less illegals are really low, generation y have been brought up differently then generatino x. Fact is even with no welfare and no illegal existing in this country starting tomorrow it will take long time before all of the work that illegal immigrants are doing right now will be done by legalls. Like it or not but we need illegals in the country as that is how we have been brought up
