any suggestions? need money to build a new comp. (fx53,x800,so oon...)

First, lower your standards.... assuming you get a job, you probably won't make enough money to get an FX53, much less an x800 and the rest of a computer. You should aim for (2500+,9600,etc..) maybe get the total cost to around $500-$600 for the computer.

As for jobs, you can try mowing the lawn for you neighbors, although it is really tedious. You can also try getting a job to collect shopping carts from the parking lot at a local supermarket.

As a parent i'm glad to see he wants to work for something rather than have his parents pay for it.

here you go.

mow the neighbors lawns. take care of their hanging baskets, flowers etc. Pick their weeds, plant the shrubs, trees for them etc. Just charge them for it, depending upon wehre you live, you can get different amounts.

just dont think you will be getting that FX53 so fast. I start work at 7:30 am, normally get off around 5. and only get paychecks in the 4-500$ range after taxes etc. You need to lower it, spend maybe 800 dollars, or just dont Fvcking spend any of it, save up for a car. and then get a decent car. and save for gas.

My first paying job was at McDonalds. It was at 14 or 15..don't really remember but I remember I needed paperwork because I was kinda too young, but when I was a senior I was 16, so the age requirement was kinda BS.

When I was 14 I had a business mowing lawns, and I went on to work construction when I was 15. I've had many jobs since then, and most of them once I feel that I've mastered it, the need to move on creeps up. Now I'm debating between going to work for the US Postal Service (which has some similarities to my current job) or doing something in the medical field. I gets old after awhile having to be the new guy all over again, learn the ropes, deal with all of the paperwork and rolling over retirement funds, but it's better than the stagnant alternative. I really don't want anything to do with management or climbing ladders, I just want to learn how to do everything that even mildly interests me. It's becoming frustrating.

I understand clothing stores give huge employee discounts.

Its true. I work at Eddie Bauer, and I get 50% off all normal priced stuff.

Seriously I read thru all the previuos posts to this thread and many of the "older" members like me are saying the same thing. To heck with buying a new expensive computer! Go out, have fun, workout, ect... but most importantly DO NOT STAY HOME wasting time infornt of a PC or TV.
