Whatever you do.....do not get a hair transplant this early. There are cooooountless doctors who will screw you over because they need to pay off their massive loans. Since you are still losing hair and your pattern can not be predicted yet.

I suggest you talk to your pcp first, maybe its a testosterone defeciency problem.

Or it could be because your body's natural algorithm has started the conversion of testosterone to DHT. DHT is known to make hair follicles weak by inhibiting blood flow.

You should also seek free consultation from Bosley. Your objective is to find out if this is in fact male patter baldness or just normal hair loss.

Lastly, talk to your doc about Propecia, it works best for hair loss in the crown region.

Goodluck

Some of the nerd type cs students can have the same problem, sure. I'm just speaking from experience. I've never been to India or south-central asia, but maybe bathing isn't an everyday thing there. It could be cultural.

Grow your hair long on one side so you can have a comb over. It'll look like sh!t but who cares, it will give everybody who crosses your path a good laugh!

He could also wear a coonskin cap all the time. Nobody would think to ask if he was bald underneath, they'd just be like "Damn, that is one badass hat."

Time to change your screen name and change your avatar to the bald dude old guy.

Sometimes stress can cause hair loss but to make sure, look at your grandfather on your mother's side. If he's bald, your chances that your hair loss is caused by stress is very slim. Unfortunately for me, my grandfather on my mother's side passed away in his 30's so I have no way of telling whether I'm going to go bald or not.

If it makes you feel any better my stylist told me I had the thickest hair of all his clients. He then added, "It would take fifty thousand years for your hair to fall out."

More and more guys are loosing their hair now. Go ahead and shave it. Don't waste money on products that will only help you keep what you have left. Its not worth $50 or more for that.

Sorry dude, you'll just have to cut it short or shave it. I don't think Rogaine or Propecia have proven very effective. Otherwise, there would be no bald celebritites, who can afford all that stuff.

I've been losing mine since about age 25, right after I got married (coincidence?, just kidding). It's genetic and it sucks, but, like someone said above, just focus on the rest of you instead. Work out and have a nice body and it will be easier to overlook. You're probably not gonna get much play from the ladies if you're bald AND fat.

That's how I've dealt with it. I looked into hair transplants too (Bosley and others), but if you Google search that stuff, you find a lot of regrets from people who have gone through it.

It's a tough break, but it could be worse. Be thankful for what you have and move on!

It might not get much worse. My hairline receded noticably at 19-20, but it stopped - and I didn't lose much more after that. I do remember it was a huge trauma for me at the time.

I started lifting weights and running, and after a while my hair stopped mattering.

Having a flat stomach and nice pecs got me a lot more attention from the ladies than having a full head of hair ever did. Would've been great to have had both, but that just ain't how life is.

dhea is a natural steroid that onw of the side effects is abnormal hair growth.
i see a lot of people go bald who wear hats. eat more organic foods, less red meat and if nothing else you will be healthy overall.
