If you want a stable, hassle-free computer then maybe you should buy an Apple Macintosh. *runs*
I got an Apple Macintosh. It crashed, wouldnt do what I wanted it to do and was only a computer to me in as much as it works with ones and zeros.
Hmm, your failure to elaborate casts just a bit of doubt over your story. It "wouldnt do what I wanted it to do". What was it that you wanted it to do, run Windows?
The only good thing about Apple is their RMA's, which I suspect they get a lot of.
And you'd be wrong.

I'm certainly no Mac fanboy, and I acknowledge they have their faults as do Intel and AMD machines. But if you're someone who just wants "something that works" and isn't into gaming, its worth at least taking a look at a machine from Apple.
Every time I get into this argument someone like you gives me a headache. Its easier to search for all my previous arguments and repost them.
I have never failed to elaborate on my anti-apple posts. I have saved myself a few brain cells by not engaging in the same discussion every day.

Just do a text search on those pages for "shorty" (Please note my default view is 100 posts per page.)
Although you would have a better understanding of the argument if you read the threads all the way through. Some people on both sides make some decent arguments, none of which included "well, you just tried to get it run Windows so you must be stupid, Haw, Haw".
As for statistics, I'm not really concerned with them. I do know that (as a group) Americans are DUMB. They think that driving SUV's makes them safer. I really dont care what percentage of people have found happiness with apple products. Plenty of people have supposedly found happiness by destroying their livers every weekend.
That doesnt mean alchohol is good or bad, just that lots of folks are willing to accept it.
Oh, and if sometime during your reading you feel the need to tell me "but you shoulda done this and you shoulda done that", please remember I didnt have access to you when I bought my iBook. Which is another problem with the Macs. Lack of people standing around willing to spend a little time teaching me how to use it.
