i would recommend

athlon xp2100+

and instead of the 512MB, get two stick of 256 to run dual channel.

buy a thermalright heatsink if you want quality and the prices are very appealing.

I second the 8RDA+ nomination, or even the non plus if you don't need all that extra stuff.

Like ShowdOWN said, if you want to take advantage of the nForce2's dual channel memory bus, then get two sticks of 256MB instead of one 512MB.

Looks fine to me. Stick with your 512. If you plan to do 1GB dual channel ram in the future.

512 of crucial 2700 does not work well at all with nforce2

Why the AIW 8500? I was thinking about getting it some time back but its not worth it. In that much money, you can get a 9500 Pro if you get the right deal (assuming its the 128mb version. Get the Winfast Deluxe 2000XP, that does the same things as the AIW and for the same total cost of capture and video you will have a much better graphics system. I'd reccomend a 9100 with the Winfast Leadtek 2000XP Deluxe like I mentioned.
