I finally upgraded my RAZR to a Blackberry and it is freaking addictive. Getting emails, surfing, media...OMGWTFBBQ it all works WELL and on a freaking phone to boot!

i love my blackberry curve 8310......just the loud speaker isnt as loud as i would have liked it
and i just make calls from it.....no addon services for me .....>they cost too much on monthly rental<<
its a gift so i would work with it for sometime

Congrats on your new...phone purchase. I echo tfinch2's comments as well. What is the hype around these all-in-one phones? Do you seriously need to surf the web on a tiny screen? Really, you can't wait to get to your computer to check your email? Are you that bored?

Don't get me wrong - I love PDA phones and the alike, but I have zero extra programs (other than the stock stuff) that comes with my Treo 700WX. Extensive contact list options, QWERTY keyboard to maintain contacts, and the ability to make calls is perfect for me.

I use mine for work and email ALL THE TIME off of it. I dont even have to sit at my desk to do 90% of my work.

The screen is actually a giant button, so you have to still *click* a button of sorts to type. It's tactile-ish but still touchscreen as well.

My employer pays for half of mine, otherwise I definitely wouldn't spring for it.

I have an 8330 that is about a month old, and I really like it. I'm not 'addicted' per say, but I use the mobile web to see when my bus is coming and all kinds of stuff like that. Its more of a convenience than a lifestyle change for me personally.

Had a Blackberry at my old job so I could get emails at all time. I have to admit, productivity does go up.

100% paid for by the company, though.
