hmmm... there are some people who can't sense whether their thirst is quenched or not (it's like some kind of genetic disorder or something), maybe you're one of those people?
Yeah, make sure you get checked for diabetes. Specially if anyone in your family has it. I had a scare like that a few years ago where I went through a period where I was almost always thirsty, but thankfully it was just me being thirsty, but still, I wouldnt have been as sound of mind if I hadnt had myself checked.
uhmmm you don't need to take high sugar to get diabetes...its basically failure to process sugar, often high consumption of sugar etc causes this but sometimes people are just born with it. (Believe me, i know a couple SKINNY/ slim diabetics.)
Get checked out for the massive thurst thing anyhow...never take chances with health.

a big percentage of diabetics go on living everyday without knowing they're diabetic. it's getting to be an epidemic proportion. if you watch news regularly, you would know.
you don't have to have "other symptoms". go get it checked out.
I know lots of skinny diabetics-they rigorously watch their diet, exercies, etc. they have severe problems. Don't fool around, go to a doctor-if it is diabetes, this is a KILLER diease if not properly treated. No joke.
You could be developing Type II (Adult Onset Diabetes)...it occurs when you aren't producing enough insulin anymore OR the insulin you are producing isn't being used effectively.
In any case, go to a doctor and have him check your blood sugar. It's easy and a good first step.
I've had that symptom and a few others for a few months now...and they can't rule it out...but they can't catch me at a time when my blood sugar is too screwed up to be sure--I go back in two months to check again.
As always, a healthy diet and exercise are key in prevention of this..and just about everything else.
