I'm drinking Red Bull

I tried it once as a free sample. Why would anyone purposely drink something that tastes like cough medicine? Even if it does give you energy, it isn't worth the awful taste.

i love redbull by itself. i like it a lot better with vodka.

edit: i drank 8 red bulls over 12 hours once at the end of a 4 day period through which i stayed away for finals once.

Agreed. At first it seems ok, but it has the aftertaste from Hell.

The stuff can kill ya if you drink it often enough. There's at least 10x more caffeine per can than 2 strong cups of coffee. Not only that but it's got high levels of sodium. My sister's roommate is sponsored by Redbull and she tells me not to drink more than a can a day unless I want a heart attack. I can totally feel that stuff messing with my heartrate.

I guess a one time binge ain't gonna kill ya but do that a few days in a row and I'm sure you'll get plenty sick.

as for sodium it's not high, only 200mg (8%DV) per can

Add other small eating habits and things will quickly add up.

Finally add your meals.

Also do you think that the US's daily values is considered healthy? (by comparing with the rest of the world's standards anyway)

I'm honestly not worred about it. I don't eat that much. I did have a double double for lunch though, lol. No breakfast.

I'm 5'8" and weigh like 130lbs I'm haning in there and will enjoy energy drinks as often as I see fit.

Well I can't say nothin as I'm not a real health nut but I do have an awareness of the real dangers of unbalanced and binge eating.
