Actually, while I initially wrote that as a joke, I think there's definite truth to it. An attractive girl like Dez prob. has guys coming on to her often. Putting a ring on her eliminates 95% of those guys from making a move. It's actually a reasonably smart move on the guy's part to make it known that she's taken.

Tho' the guy better make sure he gets the ring back if they break up...

RE: 6 weeks? When it's right, it's right. And you know it's right. I was ready to get engaged in less than 6 weeks.....I just waited 6 months becuase I thought it was a good idea to do so.
