Today is my 7th day of eating well and eating small meals. Right now I'm feeling bored, a little hungry and have an all out craving to eat some junk.

There is cake, cookies, chicken fingers, mac & cheese, really fresh buns, etc... My house is filled with all kinds of really tasty things and I'm 1/2 inch away from eating a bunch of junk.

I'm feeling really weak right now, but I don't want to cave.

I'm not happy! :|

Dont listen to these guys and stay strong... Ive been there and it sucks, do something else, play a game, watch TV, ignore it, you have to keep resisting or else you will never make it 2 months or more ... and it DOES get easier the longer you go

If you have to choose, do the Mac & Cheese (for 2 reasons)........

#1.) You'll at least have to prepare it.......(even if it's EasyMac)

#2.) The macaroni noodles are more complex than the bleached flour stuff.

Enjoy it!! Use a lot of salt to pull TONS of flavor out. It's not overly indulging and you'll be in a better place mentally after you eat it.

My .02!!

(Reason I don't say, "go run around the block" or "Drink a gallon of water right now" is because that's not a long-term solution. Occasional indulgence is a long-term solution!)

TBH, I would go for the crap food option.
I gave up coke, then I had som efor a bit, and nowadays I'm pretty much coke free (which is the best way).
I can drink coke occasionally, but nowhere near as often as I used to, and when I drink it now, sometimes I don't enjoy it that much/leave part of the bottle because I don't want so much.

There is nothing wrong with eating a little unheathy once or twice a week, just to stave off your bodys cravings. But just a little bit, not like 2 large pizzas with a six pack or anything.

I'm playing some solitaire right now to keep my mind off it. I'm planning on going for a run/walk today as well just to get my body moving a bit (weekends always seem to be a killer for me).

I figure if I work up a nice sweat I'll release some endorphins and feel more energized and happy

The thing is I can recognize that I am ADDICTED to eating this junk food.

I gave myself a nice treat when I went out to a wedding last night. I had a nice meal and didn't eat too much and then for desert I had a small piece of wedding cake.

If I have more today then it's no longer a treat. It's eating junk 2 days in a row, then 3, 4, etc... It's how I always get sucked back in.

I want to get in shape. Round isn't a desirable shape.

I made it 3 days last week. Man did I feel good. I went to bed at 9pm and ate no sugar and had 3 healthy meals a day. I haven't felt that awake and that good in a looong time. However, I gave in. I just ate a Snickers bar. I think as long as you're exercising and eating well etc. it's okay to have a treat once or twice a week. Otherwise you go nuts because you've gone your whole life eating with your normal habits.

The way you talk about your weight on this forum you make it seem like you are an out of control 700 lb monster.

I very much believe you can eat anything you want as long as you eat in moderation and get enough exercise.

My problem is that I never eat in moderation. I eat junk food all the time. I'm trying to take control of my eating habits.

Stefan! Glad to see that you are sticking with it. How many cals are you eating a day? You may be hungry since you are eating too little. Whenever I want something sweet, I make myself a Rocky Road Whey Protein Shake and feel so much better afterwards-no guilt plus I get something sweet. Good luck bro.

Well, how did you lose the weight last time? Just follow the same routine.

I lost it by watching what I ate (gave up fast food, soft drinks, etc) and then got a little exercise 2 or 3 times a week. I really didn't do much and over 2 years I lost 70 lbs.

QFT. I use to drink 3+ cans of Coke a day and now I'm hooked on water and Gatorade.

I figure I'm eating anywhere from 1800-2100 a day. I'm not being too anal about counting the calories, but I have a fairly general idea.

What I did yesterday (which I thought was pretty creative), was crushed some ice cubes int the blender, added blueberries, 1 banana and 1 cup of milk. It made 4 servings (I only had 1) and it was pretty tasty and filling.

Ice - 0 Calories
1 cup 1% milk - 110 Calories
1 Banana - 100 Calories
2 cups blueberries - 160 calories

= 370 calories / 4 = 92.5 calories per serving. (~250ml)
