I'm gettin a labby for high school and because i been usin this dell Xps T800r for about 5 and a half yrs. It has a 800hgz p3 n a tnt2. I need a labby that can play cs source and hl2 and has a fast cpu like a 2ghz. and a mainstream or highend vid card like a MR X700. It has to be a pretty big campany and cant be any small ones like alienware , voodoo, nw-falcon and gateway( my dad says their too small and mayb in a few yrs go bankrupt. Plz dont argue about that here just tell me what are some good labbys u have and what i should get my price rang is about $2000-2900.

You could get a pretty loaded Dell iXPS2 or i9300 for that price. 17" widescreens with up to a 6800 Ultra on the XPS.

I dont buy Intel so i cannot give you an Intel suggestion, but if your going AMD and want to save some money for "Something else" you may want to check this out. With YOUR left over cash I would buy a BIG External HD, and up the ram, you could also get a PCMCIA audigy card. This is probably the FASTEST system you could get for this price - AMD or INTEL im sure.
