At first i was upset with my son. then we went to a party at a friends house (they have a daughter in his class) and other parents were at it. come to find out we all got the letter. calling around we found out 6 of the 7 did it. the one is a Hispanic kid who does not speak English.

they all chose a favorite animal and decided to be them for the rest of the day lol. I feel sorry for the teacher but fuck its kinda funny.

Teacher needs to remove the stick IMO and adapt. This is kindergarten not graduate school.

Had my first a year ago... just took the baby with us to a family 2 day wedding... really really bad idea...but had no one to baby sit. Kiss your sleep good bye, the majority of your free time and quite a lot of money too It's worth it though.

Gratz we had our first a year ago.... but I was 45:ninja:

I'm 45 and I have 3 boys, youngest is 9. I can hardly fathom having another one right now - all I can say is good luck.

Congrats OP! I enjoy my kids most of the time but it is definitely a patience tester. Not having the freedom to just "up and go" is probably the worst part of the whole experience but it's gratifying especially when your kids are as awesome as mine.

That will be missed but we have been married for almost 5 years now and have done plenty of traveling and what not. I know that my life is going to change but I am ready for this journey to begin.

My wife is due on 6/29. Considering how excited you are, you must not have found out like I did.

Doctor: So you want to get the birth control implant? You know it's for three years!
Us: Heck yeah 3 years WHOOOOOOOO
Doctor: We just need to do some blood work.

Next morning: Your preggers
Following morning: Yep def preggers and already at 2 months.
Me: OH MY GOD
Wife: *Starts crying*

Good times, good times.

I will gladly give up a little sleep and some free time to have my boys. People act like your life is over, when in fact it is just a new awesome chapter.

One of my good friends found out he's going to be a Father recently. It's not a good situation at all though. He's 42 and the girl he got pregnant is 24. They both work at the same company, and hooked up at an office Christmas party back in Dec. It was just a one-time sexual thing. He begged and pleaded with her to abort the pregnancy, but she does not believe in abortion. He even offered her $5k to abort the pregnancy but she has refused. He's a wreck right now. He does not want to be a Father at 42. Not with somebody who was nothing more than a one night stand. But thanks to a broken condom at the worst possible moment, he's going to be one. According the child support tables, based on his income, he'll be paying about $900/month to her once the child is born.

We did the same as Sixguns and traveled everywere we wanted to go before we had Kaela.... heck I'm now 46 almost 47 and we are now trying for #2. We have been together almost 15yrs.... wanted to make sure it was for good:twisted:

My wife is ten years younger and we are still very active. Gym three times a week, bikes, diving, mountain bikeing and hunting. That and we are set now and she is an at home mom and that was real important to us.

Sixguns is in for some great times thats for sure.

I remember that feeling at the first ultrasound all excited to see it. The tech looked at us and asked if we were expecting twins. My wife and I looked at each other and thought how the hell is this happening to us? It was a great feeling.

She ended up on strict bedrest for 6 weeks straight and I was there with her nearly every hour. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that you just do what you gotta do. Best of luck to you. It was fun with anticipation until they came out.

I do miss being able to just do what we wanted. Now our vacations revolve around them since they're still young and we don't want to miss their growing up by spending what little free time we have just for ourselves. Give and take.

My friend had triplets, just imagine that. He almost caught up to me in one shot.

You will always want things you can't have. Human nature.

Once the kids grow up and move out, you won't even care about vacations.

Broken condom? What he didn't pull out?

My father "re" became a father at 55!!! That's right, my step sister was born an aunt to my daughter (who is 1 year older).

Does he like the girl? Maybe he can make it work? Sounds like he wants nothing to do with it though.....which is pretty sad to be honest. Time to take responsibility for his actions.

Good times, good times.

I came back from work on New Years Eve ready for a romantic evening with the GF only to find her crying on my couch.

Me: Whats wrong is everything OK (thinking someone might have been hurt or something)
Her: GodisanAtheist... I'm Pregnant.
Me: *Brain Asplodes*

Oh me, insisting on the pill instead of just dealing with condoms... Anyhow have a wonderful 7 month old baby girl and a new wife. For all the hassle and waking up at 2 in the morning and going to work a zombie etc etc etc I honestly couldn't be happier.

Congrats OP, may the force be with you.

They're co-workers. Neither of them have feelings for the other person outside of that once night when they were both drunk. The girl still lives at home with her parents.
