Found out 2 days ago.
Me and my girlfriend have been together for 6 years. We did not try to get pregnant but nonetheless we are very happy and excited!

She's about 8 weeks in so its still very early, expected birth in june sometime.
Anyone else going to be a first time father soon?

We're due for a baby girl in March. Same situation as you. Unmarried. It took 4 months of trying. I didn't mind.

I'm having fun buying baby stuff. My IQ is above 100, and my GF is smarter than me, so I think we'll be making a contribution to the species. I like the Apple Cinnamon Coffee Cake Pancakes because you get cake, twice.

We havent gotten to buying all the stuff yet, we're going to wait until after newyears before buying all the required stuff. I reckon the wallet is not as heavy as it used to be anymore?

We're trying to stick to our plan of being debt free by the time the baby is born, so expendable income isn't as readily available. Spend your time shopping for sales.

My older son just turned 5 and he know his numbers pretty well. He know that Noggin is 124, Disney is 80, and Cartoon Network is 28. I have come downstairs in the morning and found him camped out on the sofa watching Max and Ruby or Diego.

He also know how to find his movies on my computer and can minimize, maximize, pause, and control the sound so he has alternative venues if mommy is watching tv.

The best parental control is unplugging the tv. We try to get out as much as possible but when is 30-40 degrees outside it ain't too much fun and doesn't last long.
