I'm going to college!

As amazing as it seems, I was accepted to Cornell University's School of Engineering. How is this possible considering that this is my 8946th post here since 11/10/1999 (even though I didn't start posting a lot till like May 2000)? Well, you've got me, but somehow I managed this ridiculous addiction with schoolwork, Science Olympiad, some other things that I can't remember right now (too pumped), and a social life.

Congrats! I didn't get into Cornell, but got into UIUC. Cornell was my first choice too, but it isn't bad here at Illinois.

I applied to Cornell regular admissions, and they send their applicants a PIN# to their email address. So right now, I can check and see when my teacher recommendations come in, when my SAT scores arrive, and so on. I'd assume that you'd be able to use the same system to check whether or not you got in when that time comes. And cjsh, I applied to their Engineering School too, so if my first choice (ND) falls through, maybe we'll be classmates
