I'm going to give WoW another shot.

I have a level 35 Night Elf Hunter on Bleed Hollows.
Entire guild left realm to play the realm I had originally started out on [Since deleted that character though]
I mine as well play with some AT'rs.

What Race/Class has everyone enjoyed playing?

I really enjoyed my hunter until 25ish when Hunter's Mark/Pet Attack and just letting auto hit could destroy most things easily.

If things were too easy, then it's not a problem to fight tougher mobs or go to tougher instances.

I liked my Rogue, probably should have gone Mage though. A significantly more useful class in raids and even just general partying, and less equip dependent.

Pally is going to get nerfed in the next patch (look at the WoW forums, if they dont they will catch hell) so my level 40 pally is going to be made useless

i have a level 22 undead Warlock and so far it has been more fun than the pally. Take it with the pally i was dual gathering and being an auction house whore (had 300 gold by around level 35). I switched from the PvE server (what pally is on) to PvP server to see if it is more interesting. I am not going into contested zones however untill i have finished every quest in the safe zone, i know that level 40 ass holes are waiting to spawn camp me. So i have to be as well prepared to cope with it as possible.

I could/can kill +3's very easily.

I get raped fighting +4's [My hit % must drop below 20%]

I take it you're playing Alliance. Redridge and Duskwood are pretty safe, should be able to get to level 30 by questing there, even though it's contested. You'll get the occasional idiot ganker, but its not as bad as say, running through Ashenvale to get the expert cooking book.

I'd guess the Wetlands are pretty safe too, but I haven't done much questing there so I can't speak from experience.

Hunters are like that from 1-60 they the elite PVE Class..
i can take 3 even con mobs on at the same time and win with no trouble..

try a warlock if you want a real challenge

They wont nerf palys.. if they do they will start an endless chain of nerfs as the general pop sees fit to cry...

Bliz has said since Alpha they will not nerf based on what the public says...
so peeps can cry all they want... if a paly is performing where Bliz think they should they will stay the way they are...

its not like stuns and Hunters cannot just completely own a paladin.. the problem is peeps think they should be able to kill any other class... and thats not how wow works... each class has counter
they are not balacing class to every class..

I dont see a nerf coming....
I think combat rogues will get a nerf though... i think that using huge delay weps and then using SS spams to ignore the wep speed is way too powerful...

I've enjoyed my NE Rogue, but as I get higher in lvls, it's getting harder and harder to find good groups. If your server is like mine, you might want to consider playing a warrior or a priest since they are in huge demand at the upper levels.

A friend of mine started playing about a week ago. He initially started a rogue, but he just rerolled a warrior because of the high number or rogues we were encountering. We were having trouble getting anything but rogues in our groups, and 4 rogues have a very hard time keeping their healer (me) alive.

Warlocks are not difficult to play, IMO. I can easily take out two even con mobs at once. Our DoTs kill slowly (therefore we kill slowly) but we are so mana efficient we have little down time. At level 33, I am chaining mobs in Stranglethorn using my voidwalker as an aggro shield and if he doesn't hold aggro, you just fear the mob......and start on the next one while the VW finishes off the first.

ya Hadsus but your class requires thinking to play.. the Hunter i can do half asleep they are so powerful pve... pet attack autoshoot...mobs get owned so fast its not even funny...
it gets interesting when its 3 levels up but even cons are a joke... dont even have to use specials I crit so much on autoshot..

Play Horde just to mix up the previous experience. I'm an orc warrior. Shamans I think are incredibly powerful in battles and can heal and resurrect making them essential in partying. I'd play a shaman or mage in my next go-around.

300 gold??!!! Wow. Is it just a matter of buying low/sell high? or where you just auctioning off your own drops and materials?
