Oh, I forgot to mention: if you have your mouse plugged into USB it shows up under two different categories (HID and Mice). Both entries need to have the driver installed. You have to try out all devices listed under HID and see which one will accept the driver since the devices aren't labeled clearly.

WOAH! i didnt do that... that made a HUGE difference:Q

Agreed Kindest, ergo keyboards saved my wrists! I cant stand cheap standard keyboards. Everytime I use my friends KB, it feels so uncomfortable and after a while it becomes painful. I even type faster with my ergonomic keyboard. I wish I can find a comfort duo keyboard, but without the mouse.

For those who need the mouse only without the keyboard: MX700 for $34.77

Logitech® MX?700 Cordless Optical Mouse (930754-0403) only: $34.77

What dents this deal is the shipping price of $12.90 (excludes Alaska & Hawaii).

Note: I am not sure what they mean by "recertified"

I would guess it's refurbished product.

"Returned packages with an invalid or expired RMA# will be discarded" Ouch!:frown:

They need to come out with a combo with the MX 700 and the wireless ergo kb.
I'd be all over it if they do.

I tried this but it doesn't read it as a MX700, all it says differently now is that its a HID compliant cordless mouse...did I do something wrong?

sorry if this is a silly question, but how do you pm with staples these days? Are you going to try over the phone or at bm? I checked the staples website and it states:

"Staples stores do not price match against prices found on competitor internet sites. "

Speaking of connections, do you guys use PS2 or the USB connection? Which one is better/faster?

I got one MX700 with the Warcraft3-TFT from amazon. For both I only paid $37, I was waiting for this combo deal to go down but its still high on my budget.

Care to elaborate on how to get both for $37?

just a FYI anyone having this need or question for their htpc - try the MS explorer *blue*
it has excellent range (>15') and is much cheaper than mx700 (no thread crap here, I personally want a mx500 for gaming)

Buy the package deal, then sell your first mouse in FS/FT. The mx700 is still in demand by itself.
