Yes, yes you do get what you pay for. I can promise you any random article from my wardrobe is of superior quality to a similar item from yours. In fact, I'm willing to bet you couldn't identify what makes a specific piece of clothing superior.
And please don't confuse a sense of fashion with following a trend. 99% of the clothing I buy is contemporary classic. Colours, patterns, lines, fabrics, cut all change, regardless of where you buy clothes or how much you spend.

Just as I said before, what you wear does not define you. For all the time and money you wasted on those clothes, you could have actually done something constructive with yourself.
