Ok its like this:

If the guy is as much as a prick as you say well then sucks to be him; its a cheap way to get at him, but sometimes you can only get back at a person by being cheap...

Now, unless he really had some crazy crap coming to him this was uncalled for - its a gram of weed; not a glock or a mac 10. He wasn't bustin caps and hutlin' hos - so now the cops give him a hard time over something so bloody minor. I just hope he deserved it - because a gram of weed by itself never ever warrants reporting somebody.

A gram of weed goes for ~$5 (Canadian). If you would pay $20 (American) for a gram of weed, well... ha.

I don't actually waste my money on this crap myself, and have rarely smoked it (well, once or twice in my life so far).

Since you decided to rat him out, I hope you did so anonymously. If not, hopefully this guy doesn't care too much about what happened, otherwise you'll probably get an ass-kicking pretty soon.

I think you should have kept your mouth shut, but then again, he probably shouldn't have been blabbering about having a gram of weed... He kind of brought it upon himself, since if he didn't mention it to all kinds of people, he wouldn't have ended up getting arrested.

He shouldn't blame anybody but himself, since he was carrying weed, but I'd be willing to bet that he'll try to get revenge on you now. Like you said he thinks he's all that, well he's most likely going to act like it to.

If he just did something once, and you didn't try to resolve the problems, and you narked, then you're just being an ass. I used to smoke pot (not to mention drinking vast quantities of alcohol, and doing other drugs I won't mention here), but just because I don't smoke it now (or do any of the other stuff for that matter) doesn't mean I think it's bad. Just means I needed to get away from all that. I had problems with alcohol, and I had problems with some of the other stuff I did, but I can't say I ever had problems with pot. But I would've had a BIG problem with someone who narked on me.

Drugs and kids don't go well together. It's better that they don't even meet. But drugs and narks don't go well together either. I think I just would've let the kid know you didn't think too much of what he was doing, and part ways. Say bye bye.

Narking on him may have left you wide open for a world of hurt. I certainly hope not, but it may not be such a bad idea to keep a watch over the proverbial backside. -kd5-

Where did you get that information? The famous monkey test where they pumped a ton of pot smoke into a monkeys face through a mask over a very long period of time? ANY smoke will kill your brain cells if you sit there for hours breathing it. Its called oxygen deprivation. Do you have real proof that pot kills brain cells? I haven't been able to find any.

Lack of short term memory? You mean temporary lack of short term memory. Alcohol messes with your memory too while you're on it.

I occasionally smoke pot, and aced my last Calculus-3 and Physics-2 tests. Moderation is key.
