i went to orlando back in march. downtown orlando was fun at night and i didnt get to go to pleasure island but i did make it to epcot and univeral which mutually were boring. the funnest part of my trip was fishing.

Disney is overhyped and overcrowded, but you didn't think Universal Studios was cool? Did you actually go on anything??? The Spiderman, Back to the Future, and Shrek attractions rock!
Seems like more fun than throwing a string in the water and hoping something bites it (never did get into fishing...I always fall asleep heheheh).

Or 2 young lovebirds going there hanging out with each other.
Defiantely not meant for adults.
The Spiderman is definately one of the best ride.
Got back yesterday. I gave it a 5/10. The wife was sick the first 2 days, it rained every evening (EVERY evening...we were there 9 days!), and I was stuck in the condo with the inlaws :|
BTW- Here's some great quotes from my mother-out-law to show you what I had to put up with:
(after my hispanic father-in-law got a routine search by airport security): I knew this would happen- HE LOOKS LIKE AN IRANIAN!!! (in a very loud voice of course)
(when discussing treatments for my wife's food poisoning) Me: She needs Gatorade to keep from dehydrating.
her: Gatorade is all sugar! She needs something like Coke or Ginger Ale to calm her stomach!

Congradulations. You've learned what Florida is like all year, weatherwise. protip: it rains after a certain time. i'm on the east coast about an hour away from orlando, and it always rains at 3-4 PM. you can almost time your watch on it. Usually it'll be done after 6, though.
Of course, this doesn't count for random rain storms, luck, or hurricanes.

Its a vacation for the kids.
You got down here just at the wrong time.
The weather was great until about 3 weeks ago when the heat and humidity started...add in the daily rain and its unbearable.
