Im looking for a cable converter for HDTV to make cable television look better.....does that exist?

Cable television look crap on HDTV set, is there a converter to make it look better? If so anyone got link about that??

Xploder will soon release a HDTV adaptor for Playstation 2, that will allow you to play all your games in 480p,720p or 1080i....so if that will come out, is there something for regular cable television??

I dont want to pay xtra for HD channels,receiver, and anyway, we got here about 13 HD channels in canada...so imo it doesnt worth it.

The quality of SD content on an HDTV will depend on the quality of the upconverter. Some cable boxes and TVs have better upconverters than others.

SD looks decent on my 42" Plasma HD plasma.

Note that it's already being upconverted by your TV. The only way something like this is going to get you a better picture is if the box converts better than your TV does.
