I'm going to pass and probably wait for Whistler. I am quite happy with 98. With proper maintenance, installing procedures, etc..., I find it stable enough for me.

I'll stay with 98, its good enough for now. ME has too much bloat and just isn't worth the upgrade.

But I love Windows 2000.

Actually the best thing about ME is that it boots up really fast...heh, but it doesn't help if you have to restart every 5 seconds.....

I think your conclusion sucks.I see no bugs in Win Me. What are you talking about? Have you installed Win ME? I have.

It is Ok for a new system and if you want to use some of the new features such as photo editing. Otherwise,much of what it has is obtainable on Msofts web page.(I like the new wall paper,and it does boot up faster and shut down faster)

A clean install is the only way to go. There is no dos and partitioning of Hdrives cannot yet be done with partition magic.If you can lve without Dos and dos drivers,The OS is pretty good.
