I've always wondered how seriously those who get banned even temporarily care about being banned from a forum. I mean if you didn't care about rules why do you care about being in a place full of them? Wouldn't you be better off being a rebel somewhere else... like off the computer?

Good question. I don't drive (I'm decided that I'd accidentally hit someone I really cared about, so I haven't attempted to get my learners anymore) my mom won't take me to some of the places I want to go or doesn't have time, and all of my old friends either work or want to have nothing to do with me (or both). I wanted to be invited to an old friend's wedding (which was today IIRC), but he has far less respect for me now that he's a neo-con (he used to be an anti-Federalist), I'd like a girlfriend but no one I love most loves me back... boring, super-concrete, hypertestosteronal people like me don't impregnate hyperestrogenal apple-shaped (I'm not ever going to be D.T.F. a girl with a "big fanny" as one of my old professors said when he was talking about workplace sexual harassment) xNFPs very often. I had an idea about another old friend having a party when he got out of jail earlier this year, but there was no such thing as a party to celebrate for that. I guess I could still see him, but he's with his girlfriend a lot and he's not all that fun plus he loves getting into power struggles with people.

One of my first friends has turned into an extreme hermit, lives 40 minutes away, and I've not seen him since '07. He was a real fun guy, a classic INTP but now he's more introverted than he was when we younger.
