After 22 years of a pack a day I've decided I can't do it anymore. The combination of the cost for a pack of smokes these days and the fear of the effects of second-hand smoke on my 22-month-old has driven me to give it up. I quit for 2 years about a decade ago, but the day my divorce became final I went to the bar and started blackening my lungs all over again. I figure it's time to quit again...but I'm dying here! Think I'll go to bed...if I'm sleeping I'm not thinking about it.
Oh, and all you smokers out there...you guys are still my brothers. Feel free to light up next to me in the N/S section of the restaraunt.
